“Olympique Lyonnais is very pleased to welcome Endrick, who will join the professional squad from December 29th, and thanks Real Madrid for the quality of the conversations and collaboration that made his arrival possible,” says the French team in a statement.
After a good start for the Spanish team, the young striker ended up suffering from injuries and lost his place at Real Madrid. Furthermore, the arrival of Spanish coach Xabi Alonso also contributed to the lower number of opportunities received by the Brazilian.
At Lyon Endrick hopes to receive more opportunities to play and show the Brazilian national team coach, the Italian Carlo Ancelotti, that he deserves to be part of the group of players who will represent Brazil in the 2026 World Cup, which will be played in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
