The pro-government deputy Colyn Soroka pointed out that the agenda of politicians, sometimes, does not figure in the priorities of the general public.

“It is important to end this issue of impeachment of prosecutor Sandra Quiñonez, because it is something that people are not interested in,” said the parliamentarian.

The legislator stated that the problems that plague the majority of the population are far from what politicians in Parliament are now addressing. The dire economic situation that is plaguing the country, reflected in the inflation of basic product prices, fuel increases, and road blockages, currently make up the accumulation of problems that are hitting hard.

Deputy Soroka meant in this context that the legislators of the Parliament must cut the issues that are only addressed as a priority by them. It should be noted that the issue of the impeachment trial of prosecutor Sandra Quiñonez has been pounded by sectors of the opposition for more than a year. In a first attempt to prosecute her, she failed after the blockade applied by the Colorado Party.
