The federal president rejected that the approach of the residents is due to a security problem.
“Then the driver stops because I ask him to open the driver’s window and I talk to the people. ‘Let’s see, talk to me, what is happening? They already said, ‘there is a drainage that they promised to do and it has not yet been fulfilled. Please help us president.’ These topics, he asked him to come closer, he talked to them, he told them that they were going to visit them and they did.
“Quite the opposite, no security problems, on the contrary, I was the one who asked the driver to stop, because they were with their cardboard, so that I could attend to them, that is, nothing to do with it,” she indicated.
When asked if she would think about modifying her security protocols after the approach of the residents, the president rejected it.
“No, this is the other way around, I was the one who decided to stop the train so I could serve people. When you have a request from people you have to attend to it, even more so if I go personally, I always try to attend to them. When we get to the places, people have requests, tasks that I collect along the way, many times I stop so they can give me the management,” she highlighted.
