This Sunday, Cienfuegos added two deaths in traffic accidents to a statistic that continues to grow for the province, “in alarm and dangerous condition,” according to the authorities. The event occurred at kilometer 188 of the National Highway, near the municipality of Aguada de Pasajeros, when a bus collided with a truck.
The accident has so far left two fatalities, the driver and one of the passengers of the bus, but there are several people hospitalized, including two minors who have minor injuries.
The Prime Minister, Manuel Marrero, mentioned the accident on his “We regret the traffic accident that occurred today in Cienfuegos, which caused the death of two people and several injuries. We express our deepest condolences to the families of the victims,” said the head of Government.
