PN holds fellowship lunch with former bosses and former general directors

Saint Dominic.– For the first time in its institutional history, the National Police organized a meeting that brought together former chiefs and former general directors of the institution for a lunch of symbolism, memory and recognition.

The activity, coordinated by Major General Ramón Antonio Guzmán Peraltacurrent general director of police, interviewed in the same space figures who at different stages assumed the responsibility of directing the law enforcement entity.

The initiative, official sources highlight, responds to a leadership vision based on cohesion, unity and respect for the institutional trajectory.

The Club for National Police Officers was the scene of the emotional meeting, where the anecdotes, reflections and memories shared between generations of senior police officers.

Participants agreed that more than a lunch, it was an exercise in historical memory and reaffirmation of valueswhich contributes to strengthening the internal ties of the organization.

Among those attending were retired major generals Edward Sánchez González, Ney Aldrin Bautista Almonte, Nelson Peguero Paredes, Manuel E. Castro Castillo, José Armando Polanco Gómez, Rafael Guillermo Guzmán Fermín, Bernardo Santana Páez, Jaime Marte Martínez, José Paulino Reyes de León and José Ramón Mota Paulino.

Also the generals participated Juan H. Guzmán Badía, deputy director of the Police and director of Police Transformation; Esteban Figuereo García, director of Human Resources; Ernesto Rodríguez García, central director of Prevention; Pedro Matos Pérez, central director of Research (DICRIM), as well as Colonel Iván Matos, administrative deputy director of the General Teaching Hospital of the National Police (Hosgedopol).

During the event, Major General (r) Rafael Guillermo Guzmán Fermín spoke on behalf of those present and highlighted the value of initiative promoted by Guzmán Peraltadescribing it as a gesture of recognition of the legacy of those who have led the institution.

Guzmán Fermín maintained that this type of meetings strengthen the institutions and advocated that they be maintained periodically, as it is a practice that unites, recognizes and projects a more solid and committed to its mission.
