For the first time in institutional history, the National Police made an unprecedented meeting a reality: a luncheon meeting that brought together former bosses and former general directors of the institution, in an event of high historical, symbolic and human value.
This significant event was coordinated by Major General Ramón Antonio Guzmán Peralta, current director general of the National Police, whose vision of leadership, unity and respect for the institutional trajectory made this space of reunion and recognition possible, aligned with the mission to protect and serve.

The Club for National Police Officers was the setting where this memorable meeting took place, marked by anecdotes, memories and reflections of those who, at different moments in history, assumed with honor the responsibility of leading and serving from the police ranks.
More than a lunch, it was an act of institutional cohesion, historical memory and reaffirmation of values, which strengthens the ties between generations and projects a united National Police, aware of its past and committed to its future.
Among those attending are the major generals (r): Edward Sánchez González, Ney Aldrin Bautista Almonte, Nelson Peguero Paredes, Manuel E. Castro Castillo, José Armando Polanco Gómez, Rafael Guillermo Guzmán Fermín, Bernardo Santana Paez, Jaime Marte Martínez, José Paulino Reyes de León and José Ramón Mota Paulino.
Also present were Generals Juan H. Guzmán Badia, deputy police director and director of Police Transformation; Esteban Figuereo García, director of Human Resources, and Ernesto Rodríguez García, central director of Prevention, and Pedro Matos Pérez, central director of Research (DICRIM). Likewise, Colonel Iván Matos, administrative deputy director of the General Teaching Hospital of the National Police (Hosgedopol), was present.
Major General (r) Guzmán Fermín spoke on behalf of those present, who highlighted that he valued the initiative of Major General Guzmán Peralta as positive, highlighting that it represents a recognition of the legacy of each of the former chiefs and former directors general of the National Police.
He added that the initiative, carried out for the first time in the history of the National Police, strengthens the institutional framework, which is why he advocated that it continue to be celebrated in the future.
