Brazilian Lucas Pinheiro Braathen won this Sunday (21) the silver medal in the giant slalom event of the Alpine Skiing World Cup held in Alta Badia (Italy).

Lucas, who is the son of a Brazilian mother and a Norwegian father and started to defend Brazil in 2024, completed the race with a time of 2min35s20. With a time of 2min35s02, Austrian Marco Schwarz took gold, while Stefan Brennsteiner, also from Austria, secured bronze with a time of 2min35s24.
In November, the 25-year-old athlete made history by becoming the first Brazilian to win a stage at the Alpine Skiing World Cup. The feat was achieved in the Levi stage (Finland).
