Two points where intermittent blockades also take place this Wednesday are Tres Bocas and 4 Mojones, both on the Acceso Sur route, as part of the protests against the rise in fuel. The situation generates a great vehicular congestion.
From early hours, different groups of protesters, including truckers and other workers in the transport sector, decided to start blocking various routes in the country.
One of the points where a road closure is currently being carried out is in the area known as Tres Bocas on Acceso Sur, where a group of protesters has called to continue with the force measure.
Likewise, the school transport drivers union promotes another blockade under the 4 Mojones viaduct. There, intermittent cuts are carried out with a duration of between 10 to 15 minutes.
“We continue until the cost of all fuels is reduced, not just diesel,” Rolando Martínez, president of the association, told C9N.
In 4 Mojones, the protest would continue until around 10:00 am, since then the school buses must return to the educational institutions to look for the students.
It should be remembered that since dawn another important closure has been taking place at the San Antonio intersection, also on the South Access route, which has generated a considerable traffic jam in a section with high vehicle traffic.
It is expected that during this Wednesday the forceful measures by various sectors linked to transport will intensify, since they remain firm in the request for the reduction in fuel prices.
