Elections 2026: Find out who the presidential candidates are so far

The Plenary of National Election Jury (JNE) officially proclaimed the results of the primary elections of the 2026 General Elections, held on November 30 and December 7, processes in which political parties defined their candidates for the Presidency of the Republic, as well as the lists for the Senate, the Chamber of Deputies and the Andean Parliament.

The resolutions of the highest electoral body are based on the information sent by the National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE) and were published on the JNE institutional portal.

However, the process is not yet completely concluded, since on December 23 the list of invited candidates that each political organization will be able to add to their lists will be known.

Who are the presidential candidates for the 2026 Elections?

According to the results released by the ONPE, the political parties and alliances already have their respective candidates for the Government Palace. These are:

  • Strength and Freedom Alliance: Fiorella Molinelli
  • Faith in Peru: Alvaro Paz de la Barra
  • Patriotic Party of Peru: Herbert Caller
  • Yes I believe: Carlos Espá
  • A Different Path: Rosario Fernandez
  • National Unity Alliance: Roberto Chiabra
  • People First: Marisol Pérez Tello
  • Alliance for Progress: Cesar Acuna
  • Civic Party Works: Ricardo Belmont
  • Popular Cooperation: Yonhy Lescano
  • Popular Force: Keiko Fujimori
  • Popular Renewal: Rafael Lopez Aliaga
  • Free Peru: Vladimir Cerron
  • We can Peru: José Luna Gálvez
  • We are Peru: George Forsyth
  • Country for All: Carlos Alvarez
  • Purple Party: Messiah Guevara
  • Popular Freedom: Rafael Belaunde
  • Good Government Party: Jorge Nieto
  • Front of Hope 2021: Fernando Olivera
  • Advance Country: Joseph Williams
  • Together for Peru: Roberto Sanchez
  • Peruvian Aprista Party: Enrique Valderrama
  • Save Peru Party: Antonio Ortiz

Citizens for Peru and the Popular Agricultural Front FIA of Peru (Frepap) did not register a presidential plan in this process.
