In a work session dedicated to perfecting strategies for the year 2026, the Technical Committee for Analysis and Decision Making of the National Electric Corporation (Corpoelec) evaluates the effectiveness of executed plans and sets new goals for the National Electric System (SEN).
The meeting, led by the Minister of Popular Power for Electrical Energy, Jorge Márquez, is held at the facilities of the “Simón Bolívar” Monumental Stadium and focuses on the planning of tasks in terms of generation, transmission and distribution of electricity, aimed at maintaining the favorable rates achieved in the last year.
Precisely, thanks to the sustained preventive and corrective maintenance maneuvers, including comprehensive adaptations carried out by specialized technical personnel, more than four thousand megawatts were incorporated into the SEN. This significant advance leverages the country’s productive development and constitutes the starting point for new goals that call for the participation of the private sector.
These review sessions are carried out permanently in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, as part of the actions defined in the Homeland Plan of the Seven Great Transformations (7T), towards 2030.
