The exports of panettone Peruvian pesos reached US$ 7.17 million between January and October 2025, which reflects a growth of 3.6% compared to the same period of the previous year (US$ 6.92 million).
This is revealed in the report ‘Panetones: Evolution of the International and National Market of the Research Center for Global Economy and Business of the Association of Exporters’ (CIEN-ADEX).
The United States and Chile together accounted for 75.8% of total shipments during the first ten months of the year, with US$ 3.81 million and US$ 1.63 million, respectively.
While the US market experienced a slight variation of -1.4%, Chile showed a strong increase of 25.3% in its orders.
In addition to these markets, other relevant destinations for the Peruvian product were the Netherlands, Japan, Costa Rica, Spain, Italy, Canada, Ecuador and Bolivia.
This performance occurs within the framework of the traditional international demand for panettone, associated with end-of-year celebrations and consumer interest in products with Peruvian identity.
