When supervising the project, which reports 8% progress in construction, he assured that there is no social conflict and that there is consensus with the population to guarantee payment at fair prices for the acquisition of the rights of way.

Sheinbaum toured the section being built in San Juan del Río. With a length of 80 kilometers, this section is one of four that will be built in the state of Querétaro.
In total, the Mexico-Querétaro Train will have 226 kilometers. Its construction was divided into 12 sections, in which work is being done simultaneously to inaugurate the work in 2027.
The works include the construction of tunnels so as not to affect the traffic that exists on the Mexico-Querétaro Highway.
The general director of the ARTF, Andrés Lajous Loaeza, said that this work will guarantee a 2-hour journey from Mexico City to Querétaro; one hour 20 minutes from Mexico City to San Juan del Río and 43 minutes from San Juan del Río to the center of Querétaro.
