Based on the information provided by Ponte en Carrera, these are the salaries that place ten engineering careers as the best paid in the group of 20 university professions that reported the best salaries in 2020:

1. Computer and systems engineering

With an average remuneration of S/2,876, he heads the list of the highest paid engineers in our country. Moreover, among all the families of engineering careers, the minimum salary registered is S / 1,200 while the maximum reaches S / 5,000.

2. Geological engineering

It is the second best paid engineering career in the family with an average salary of S/.2704; while the maximum remuneration is located at S/4,500, the minimum amounts to S/1,360.

3. Telecommunications Engineering

The average salary of a telecommunications engineering graduate amounts to S/2,645. In the case of this career, the minimum salary reported is S/1,300, while the maximum remuneration reaches S/4,100.

4. Industrial engineering

The average remuneration of an industrial engineer, according to the Electronic Form of the MTPE, is S/2,586; while the minimum salary is S/1,200 and the maximum salary is S/4,500.

5. Sanitary engineering

With S/2,563, the sanitary engineer ranks as the fifth best paid branch within the engineering families. The minimum income is S/930 (equivalent to a minimum living wage – RMV) and the maximum is S/4,000.

6. Mechanical engineering

The average salary of a mechanical engineer graduated between 2017 and 2019 from the university amounts to S / 2,485; while his minimum remuneration is located at S / 1,100 and the maximum at S / 4,300.

7. Electrical engineering

In this case, the average remuneration is located at S/2,432, but at least an electrical engineer earns S/1,200 and at most receives S/4,400.

8. Mining, metallurgical and petroleum engineering

This professional registers an average salary of S/2,406, which is why he is ranked as the seventh best paid engineering career. His minimum income is S / 1,200 and the maximum is S / 4,000.

9. Electronic engineering

In this case, the average salary of an electrical engineer amounts to S/2,327, but his minimum remuneration is S/1,200 and the maximum is S/3,900.

10. Civil engineering

The civil engineer graduated between 2017 and 2019 is registering an average salary of S / 2,270. Even so, he has a minimum income of S / 930 (RMV) while the maximum is located at S / 3,700.

12. Textile engineering and clothing

He registers an average salary of S/1,805, but while his minimum remuneration is S/1,200, the maximum amounts to S/2,900.

13. Other engineering

This group includes transportation engineering and automotive engineering careers. In this case, the average income is S/1,796, but the minimum salary is S/1,100 and the maximum is S/2,800.

14. Engineering in food industries

This engineer registers an average salary of S/1,708, but while his minimum remuneration amounts to S/1,100, the maximum reaches S/2,400.

15. Engineering in agroindustry
