“Banorte is, from that moment on and onwards, the only issuer of said credit cards, directly assuming their administration and operation, as well as the corresponding contractual relationship with the current and future clients who are holders of the same,” the bank explained.
Rappicard credit card customers will be able to continue using them as usual.
Banorte promised that this transition will not imply operational interruptions or impacts on service.
Last April, the bank announced the purchase of 44.28% of the shares it shared with Rappi for 50 million dollars, in addition to an exclusivity contract for the bank to market the products within the Rappi ecosystem for 15 years.
