Eight members of the National Police remain under specialized medical care in the Lili Valley Foundationlocated in the south of Cali, after being injured in the middle of the escalation of violence which was registered in the municipality of Buenos Airesnorth of the department of Cauca.
According to the clinic’s official statement, the injured police officers were evacuated by air to the capital of Valle del Cauca, where they received immediate and priority attention from the institution’s care teams.

Since his arrival, the emergency protocols established for this type of situations, taking into account the complexity of each case.
The Valle del Lili Foundation stated that the patients have been evaluated by the health services. Emergencies, General Surgery and Orthopedicsamong other specialties, in order to guarantee comprehensive management of injuries suffered during the riots.
Likewise, it was indicated that the clinical follow-up is permanent and is carried out in an interdisciplinary manner.
According to the medical report, some of the uniformed men remain in observationwhile others have required or will require surgical proceduresdepending on your clinical evolution.
Furthermore, the institution specified that one of the police officers is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)under strict medical supervision.
Attacks
It should be noted that the uniformed officers were seriously injured in the middle of a escalation of violence perpetrated by members of the ‘Jaime Martínez’ front of the dissidents of the FARC, an illegal armed group that put into check to local authorities and the civilian population.
