This Tuesday morning there was a clash between two public transport units of the Valencia municipality, after one of the vehicles was kidnapped by a group of antisocials on the South Highway, specifically at the height of La Guacamaya.
Adolfo Alfonso, president of the entity’s Single Transport Union, reported that one of the drivers was injured in the leg in the event, in addition to receiving several blows from the criminals.
He explained that the version that is handled is that one of the trucks would have been robbed, kidnapped and on the way he was found. The criminals later fled the scene.
“The accident happened around 5:30 in the morning. Public transport had at least 35 passengers while it was traveling from Tocuyito-Santa Rosa-San Diego », he recounted.
The official alerted the authorities to reinforce patrolling on the roads.
