Internacional announced this Thursday (18) the hiring of Uruguayan coach Paulo Pezzolano. “The 42-year-old professional signs a contract with Clube do Povo until December 2026 and will be presented in the coming days,” Colorado said in a statement.

“Pezzolano has accumulated international experience throughout his career. In Brazilian football, he led Cruzeiro in the 2022 season, leading the team to win the Brazilian Championship Series B title, with early access to the national elite. In Europe, he was in charge of Real Valladolid, from Spain, where he gained access to LaLiga in the 2022/23 season, in addition to a recent stint at Watford FC, from England. Before that, he worked in Mexico and emerged in football Uruguayan, with winning the Intermedio title with Liverpool”, said Internacional in a statement.
Another team to announce a new commander is Remo, which in 2025 guaranteed access to Series A of the Brazilian Championship. In 2026, Leão will be led by Colombian Juan Carlos Osório.
