Santo Domingo.– The Plenary Session of the Chamber of Accounts of the Dominican Republic (CCRD) approved three new audit reports during its twenty-fifth ordinary session, held last Monday, December 8, 2025, at the headquarters of the constitutional body.
In compliance with its constitutional mandate and the provisions of Law no. 18-24, the CCRD prepared these reports with strict adherence to current technical standards and with full respect for the rights of the auditees, reaffirming its permanent commitment to transparency and the best practices of superior auditing.
The audits correspond, first of all, to the audit carried out on the information included in the financial statements of the Center for Industrial Development and Competitiveness (PROINDUSTRIA), for the period between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2015.
Likewise, they include the audit carried out on the information contained in the financial statements of the National Institute of Potable Water and Sewage (INAPA), corresponding to the period of January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2015.
Finally, they cover the audit applied to the financial information collected in the budget execution statements of the Ministry of Labor, for the period between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2017.
Each of these processes incorporates its respective letter to management and the legal report, in accordance with established procedures and external fiscal control standards.
With these approvals, the total number of audits issued by the institution rises to 69 in the last seven months, strengthening citizen confidence in fiscal control mechanisms and reaffirming the commitment of the constitutional body to transparency, accountability and the correct administration of public funds.
