The Judiciary joins the people in rejecting the reckless and serious threat against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela recently imposed by the United States Government; This was stated by the president of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), Caryslia Rodríguez Rodríguez, after denouncing this new imperial action.
After reading a statement, Rodríguez expressed that the imposition of a supposed “naval blockade” constitutes, without a doubt, an attack against sovereignty and a new aberrant violation of the Bolivarian Constitution, the laws of the republic and international law.
“Today we denounce and call to join efforts to return and maintain ethical and legal values as instruments of peace, sovereignty and equality among the peoples of the world,” he stated.
Likewise, he indicated that the TSJ, in exercise of the national and international legal framework that protects the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, supports the ratification of Venezuela’s sovereignty over its natural resources, as well as its right to free navigation and free trade.
In addition, they ratified their support for the defense of the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Venezuela. “We raise our voices to reaffirm our commitment to life and the right to freely travel the path of peace,” he said.
