The unit of plate B0G-775belonging to the transport company Servitranshosted by David Anaya, It transported eight thousand gallons of fuel (diesel and gasoline) from Arequipa to Cusco.suffered a mistake and subsequently overturned, resulting in considerable material damage and burning in flames as a result of the accident.
During the first proceedings, the driver stated that at the time of the incident there were no occupants in the unit. Likewise, police officers from the Espinar Police Station continue to carry out the corresponding legal proceedings, proceeding to isolate the scene. In coordination with the Espinar Fire Company, the fire was put out and vehicle traffic was normalized.
After what happened, risk management work began by establishing a cordon at the site of the spill to prevent further damage to the animals since it can be seen that the site is a grazing area; two people were reported affected by the accident.
