Romania is advancing the construction of Dracula Land, a theme park inspired by Dracula that will open between 2026 and 2027.
A new tourist destination in Europe
Romania advances in the construction of Dracula Landan ambitious theme park inspired by the legendary figure of Draculawith the aim of positioning itself as one of the main tourist destinations in Europe. The project, which is being developed near Bucharestcontemplates an investment close to 1 billion euros (around one billion dollars) and seeks to boost both the entertainment industry and tourism in the country.
The complex projects its opening between 2026 and 2027 and has been presented as an unprecedented bet in Central and Eastern Europea region that until now did not have a theme park with global reach.

Six immersive lands and more than 40 attractions
The park will have six themed areas and more than 40 attractions, including roller coasters, dark rides, Gothic castles and immersive experiences, inspired by both the folklore of Transylvania and different episodes from European history.
The experiences will be designed for all types of audiences. Visitors will be able to tour haunted castles, participate in interactive adventures and use state-of-the-art simulators that recreate emblematic landscapes and settings of Romania, combining history, fantasy and technology.
Among the thematic areas, scenarios such as Transylvania, London, the Port of New Orleans and the iconic Dracula’s Castlecentral axis of the park.

A large scale complex
With an approximate surface area of 780,000 square metersDracula Land will include a wide range of entertainment and services. The project contemplates hotels, roller coasters, an enchanted forest, water park, maze, lake, theater, ships, carriage rides, thermal spa, race track, performance arena, shops and restaurants.
In addition, interactive experiences will be offered such as parkour and vampire huntingdesigned to attract both families and horror and fantasy fans.

Technology, metaverse and virtual currency
One of the most innovative aspects of the park will be the incorporation of cutting-edge technology. Dracula Land will have its own virtual currency, the DraculaCoinand a personalized metaverse using artificial intelligencewhich will allow visitors to create unique avatars and live narrative adventures adapted to each user.
This combination of physical and digital entertainment seeks to convert the park into a comprehensive experience that transcends the traditional visit.
