The Public Ministry carried out a simultaneous raid on four properties linked to the regional vice governor of Huancavelica, Saturnina Quispe de la Cruz, as part of an investigation into alleged irregularities in procurement processes for the Angaraes Health Network.
The procedure was carried out from midnight to 8:00 am on Tuesday, December 16, with the support of agents from the Anti-Corruption Directorate (Dircocor). The prosecutors intervened in the home of the regional authority, the home of his son William Caso Quispe, the house of a supplier and the office of the Regional Vice Government, located in the headquarters of the Regional Government of Huancavelica.
During the operation, cell phones, laptops and documentation were seized, all of which was sealed and will be sent to Lima for specialized technological expertise. The prosecutor in the case, Mariela Vilca, indicated that the results of the analysis could consolidate the thesis of alleged collusion or lead to a reclassification of the crime.
The investigation originated after a confidential complaint filed at the end of 2024. No detainees were registered and the prosecutor’s office does not rule out expanding the proceedings as the analysis of the seized material progresses.
