The Panamanian airline Copa Airlines reported this Tuesday the 16th that it will maintain the “temporary suspension” of its flights to and from Caracas, Venezuela, until January 15, 2026.
The company indicated in a statement that the measure is due to the “operational conditions” at the Maiquetia International Airport.
The airline had suspended its operations until December 12, later extended it until the 18th and now they announce that they are maintaining the suspension until January 15.
He explained that to meet the seasonal demand, flight frequencies between Panama and Cúcuta, Colombia increased.
Likewise, he explained that as part of the evaluation of operational alternatives, they carried out a test flight with a cargo aircraft to La Chinita International Airport, in Maracaibo.
