The company Energy 2000 reported yesterday that it concluded the testing and commissioning process of the 345 kV Manzanillo-Guayubín-El Naranjo transmission line, a key work for the national electrical system.
The infrastructure will allow the integration of National Interconnected Electrical System (SENI) the 414 megawatts that will generate the Manzanillo Power Land thermoelectric plantcurrently under construction in the Montecristi province.
The transmission line has a length of 130 kilometers and was developed under international standards of Extra High Voltagewith operating capacity 345 thousand voltswhich optimizes the transportation of large power blocks and reinforces the stability of the SENI.
Connect the Pepillo Salcedo Substationlocated on the land of the generator in Manzanillo, with the El Naranjo Substationin Santiago, and incorporates in its design the future interconnection with Guayubín.
