Relatives of Juan Pablo Guanipa raised their voices again to request urgent medical attention for the national leader of Primero Justicia, arbitrarily detained on May 23.

“My father needs urgent medical attention, he suffers from hypertension and insulin resistance, which is why he resorted to constant check-ups,” wrote his son Ramón Guanipa. on social network.

The political leader’s family is unaware of his current health condition because they have not been able to see him or have precise information. They have expressed concern given that Guanipa has hypertension and requires permanent medical monitoring.

About a week ago Ramón Guanipa also asked to see his father and assured that he fears for his life due to his health condition and the isolation situation in which the leader finds himself.

The concern of the Guanipa family increased after learning of the death of the former governor of Nueva Esparta and political prisoner Alfredo Díaz in El Helicoide, in Caracas, on December 6, after remaining in prison for a little over a year without receiving medical attention, despite the demands of his relatives.
