The Regional Primary Inspector did so when referring to Teacher Alvariza
The almost 40 years dedicated fully to education do not go unnoticed by the educational community, much less by the authorities of the General Directorate of Initial and Primary Education.
The Regional Inspector was in Melo to deliver all the documentation of the jurisdiction from Marcelo Alvariza as Outgoing Inspector to Cristina Reggiardo who has remained in charge of the Departmental Inspection.
“It is an extremely emotional day. After the Inspector’s words, I can tell you that it is really a privilege for me to also be at this ceremony of handing over command where the Departmental Inspector is completing the last day of those 38 years of uninterrupted work, dedication and commitment to public education.” remarked the Master Inspector Gabriela Mattiauda.
“In his career, Inspector Marcelo worked in rural schools as a single-teacher Principal Teacher, then in Urban School Management positions as well, then in supervision positions as a Zone Inspector, more than 10 years as a Departmental Inspector in charge of different jurisdictions, Inspections of different departments” detailed the highest Primary authority in the region. “Now that trajectory ends in this Departmental Inspection of Cerro Largo” he added.
“For me it is also a huge pleasure in this role that I am occupying, this year as Regional Inspector, to be able to make this change of provisional command with the Inspector in Charge of Dispatch Cristina Reggiardo and to greatly value the work that the Inspector has developed this year with whom I have shared his work, as well as with the entire Inspection Body and the management officials of this Inspection” he stressed.
Mattiauda thanked him for the work “very thought out and very planned” of all those who perform functions in the Departmental Inspection. “A systematic work and a work that we guide at the regional level in a collaborative manner, a work of thinking about practices, of thinking about management, in those three lines that the Technical Inspection marked from 2023 and 2024, from supervisory management, from planning and from inclusion” he emphasized. “We have worked on these three pillars this year, particularly when I shared with Marcelo and the entire Corps of Inspectors, working together, being in the territory, being able to visit and learn about different realities, always to improve these practices because they result in the best learning for the students.” he stated.
“There is nothing left but to thank the Departmental Inspector for his career, his excellent professionalism, and the professional ethics of these 38 years of work, which is no small feat.” said the Master Inspector Gabriela Mattiauda.
“New projects will surely come” he said addressing the outgoing authority. “He has promoted, he has been a promoter of many projects in rural schools, in urban schools in different areas” stood out. “Surely he will continue with another passion that he has, in addition to being a Teacher and teaching, which is music and singing as everyone well knows. He will continue in these directions, but always pending and at the order, at the disposal of what we may be needing and needing from his vast experience that he has in this role. It is a pride for me to deliver all this official documentation from the Cerro Largo Schools Inspection” the Regional Primary Inspector concluded.
