More than 18,400 disadvantaged people access education through LearnINEA: Mario Delgado

  • With this digital educational tool, we contribute to the principle established by President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo of guaranteeing access to education for all Mexicans, he highlighted.
  • Through the cell phone, computer or tablet, it is possible that these people can obtain their educational certificate validated by the SEP, he stated.
  • Those over 15 years of age interested in completing their primary and/or secondary school online can register through the sitelearnea.inea.gob.mx, he reported.

The Secretary of Public Education, Mario Delgado Carrillo, assured that the LearnINEA digital platform of the National Institute for Adult Education (INEA), currently facilitates access to education for 18,474 people over 15 years of age in a situation of educational backwardness, who study their primary and secondary education online through a cell phone, computer or tablet, available in the centers located in community squares that are located in different parts of the states.

Delgado Carrillo pointed out that, with this educational system, we contribute to the principle established by President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo of guaranteeing access to education for all Mexicans.

For this reason, he said, the LearnINEA digital educational tool integrates the knowledge and learning corresponding to primary and secondary education, as part of INEA’s Education for Life Model (MEV). These contents are presented through educational modules designed to be studied from any electronic device with Internet access.

The head of the SEP highlighted that the main objective of LearnINEA is to facilitate access to education for anyone over 15 years of age who, due to various circumstances, did not have the opportunity to attend or complete primary or secondary school in the school system.

He explained that the platform encourages a self-taught educational process, by allowing people to study from their home, workplace or any other place with an internet connection. In addition, it offers interactive exercises, examples, evaluations and the possibility of saving progress to continue with your training according to your time and availability.

Delgado Carrillo stressed that those who enroll in this modality can also study and review content offline, which expands their access to learning.

He added that LearnINEA takes advantage of current technological tools to offer a comprehensive educational process, aligned with the principles of the New Mexican School (NEM), in order to guarantee the right to education and contribute to the reduction of educational lag.

Finally, he explained that the registration process is carried out completely online, through the sitelearneea.inea.gob.mx, where registration, the presentation of exams and the process to obtain primary and secondary certificates with official validity from the Ministry of Public Education (SEP) are also carried out, once the corresponding training has been completed.

For more information about INEA educational services, interested parties can call the telephone line 800 00 60 300, from any area of the Republic, or visit the website www.gob.mx/inea. As well as on official social networks: on Facebook and YouTube, such as “INEA Nacional”; in X, @INEAmx; and on the inea_mx Instagram account
