Sergeant Rodríguez, from the Army, was one of the two soldiers killed in attacks in the middle of election day this Sunday, March 13, in Caquetá and Meta.

Although the day passed more calmly than in other elections, there were areas where there were protests, in several towns they did not vote and terrorist attacks were recorded, reported the public force and the national government.

Among the soldiers killed in attacks are sergeants Silvio Jordan Echeverría España and SS sergeants Henry Andrés Rodríguez Cortés.

Both from the Caguán Specific Command Battalion.

This Tuesday, after the farewell with honors also at the Florencia airport, Caquetá, the body of Sergeant Rodríguez arrived in Cali with more honors.

They will have the soldier in a burning chamber at the funeral home and the burial will take place this Wednesday.
