Chilpancingo, Gro., Nearly a thousand members of the Federation of Socialist Peasant Students of Mexico (Fecsm), parents of the 43 normal students who disappeared in Iguala in 2014 and members of social organizations marched yesterday through the main streets of Chilpancingo to demand justice for the murder of Jorge Alexis Herrera Pino and Gabriel Echeverría de Jesús, perpetrated on December 12, 2011, at the point known as Parador del Marqués on the Autopista del Sol Mexico to Acapulco.
They also held a rally at the Antimonument at 43, where they demanded the presentation alive of the Ayotzinapa normalistas.
From 11 in the morning, the Fecsm delegations arrived in 18 trucks at the El Caballito monument, in the north of the capital, and traveled about 10 kilometers to the inn, where a rally was held in front of the wooden crosses placed in memory of Jorge Alexis and Gabriel, where their bodies were left.
Melitón Ortega, spokesperson for the parents of the 43, stated: “We are here to tell the State that it has an outstanding debt, because it continues to protect those responsible (for the disappearances) who were in power.”
