The President of the Republic, José Jerí, arrived in Cusco last Saturday afternoon, in order to carry out coordination and inspection actions for different works and projects that are carried out in the imperial region.
Upon arrival at the Alejandro Velasco airport, andThe president was received by a delegation of the Inca courtwho gave him the honors along with the main local authorities. Then they headed to the Inca Garcilaso stadium in La Vega.
At the sports venue, the presidentThe transfer of 200 million soles for the completion of the Antonio Lorena hospital was highlighted and the temporary administration of the aforementioned stadium to the Cusco Regional Government, with the aim of guaranteeing efficient management that promotes sport.
After the announcement, Jerí received applause and later the attendees shouted at him. “Machine, machine”, to which the president responded smiling and citing that it was “too early to dance”, but that he would do it later, later he cited “What yes, this is a government at full speed”causing laughter among the attendees.
The president also announced that, at the beginning of January, A national plan will be launched for what he called a sporting ‘revolution’, aimed at strengthening all disciplines and training future Bolivarian and Pan American medalists and representatives of the country in international competitions.
After this visit, Jerí Oré went to the Cusco Video Surveillance Center facilities, then to the Antonio Lorena Contingency Hospital and then to the Maternal and Child Hospital of Belén.
On Sunday, he is expected to participate in the raising of the National Pavilion in the Plaza Mayor of Cusco, visit the Decentralized Multisectorial Fair in Plaza Santiago, the Cusco Police Region and then go down to the works of the Chinchero international airport.
