According to witnesses of the event, the motorcyclist identified as Brayan Stiven Yusti Colmenares, 33 years old, He was chased by the agent from the Imbanaco Clinic – where he had picked up his partner – up to several blocks. Through an official statement, the Ministry of Mobility expressed its solidarity with the family and friends of the victim “in this difficult moment” and announced that he will accompany investigation transparency that the control entities advance.
Likewise, the district authority reported that The agent involved was removed from operational duties and temporarily reassigned while the investigations continue. This decision, the entity specified, seeks to “guarantee due process by the competent authorities.”
The official statement also rejected any violent act derived from this situation and recalled that none of the road actors can resort to aggression as a mechanism to resolve conflicts.
“Violence is not justified by any of the road actors and cannot be the way to resolve conflicts in the city,” the document added.

“We make this video in order to demand justice for the murder of our relative Brayan Steven Yusti Colmenares, who lost his life at the hands of traffic agent 471. This is already known to the justice system, but it is very easy to find videos where traffic agents are attacked, but we do not show what is happening in this society, such as intolerance and abuse of power.”
Likewise, they questioned the action of the official and they asked that the process move forward with the same speed with which attackers of traffic officers have been prosecuted in other cases.
“Be that as it may, it is not justified that this person has taken the life of a husband, father and son. We Cali people are tired of these systematic acts of violence endorsed by a uniform. So, since they have captured the agents’ attackers, we demand that this person be behind bars today and pay for having taken the life of our family member,” they stated.
