Shooting in Villa Duarte leaves two women and a 10-year-old boy injured this Thursday night

Santo Domingo.-A shooting that occurred this Thursday night in the Simoníco neighborhood, in Villa Duarte, Santo Domingo Este, left two women and a 10-year-old boy injured, after two men opened fire on an improvised pallet stand, reported the National Police.

The shooting, investigated by the Police and the Public Ministry, occurred around 7:00 at night, when the assailants, still unidentified, got out of a black SUV and shot multiple times towards the establishment where the victims were.

The injured were quickly taken to a health center to receive medical attention. They were identified as Marie Benitez Rodne47 years old; Maria Mercedes Arias Amador63; and the child Joshua Rodne10 years old, whose condition is delicate.

At the crime scene, nine .45 caliber casings, one 9 mm casing and one impacted projectile were collected. All ballistic material will be analyzed by the Scientific Police as part of the investigation.
