In front of the immense blue that embraces the coast of michesrises a dock that not only connects boats with the sea, but also to the familiesto the friends and dreams that find in this place a corner to stop time.
Since his reopeningon October 13, 2025, the dock tourism has become a live stage: laughter that mixes with the sound of the waves, cell phones ready to capture memories. Here visitors come to enjoy, to breathe deeply, to feel the breeze of a growing destination where each view looks like a postcard.
Collado, delivered this work after a investment of 51,400,000 million pesos, bringing life back to a structure that was left in ruins after the passage of the Hurricane Fiona. Today, that history of destruction is transformed into a promise for the future for the municipality and its people.

He dock was rebuilt from its foundations, with metal piles galvanized and filled with concrete that give firmness to the encounter with the sea. Above them rests a walkway covered in treated wood, warm and harmonious, which invites you to walk without haste, to contemplate the horizon and let yourself fall in love with the mountains that loom in the distance.
Every detail has been thought of to make this place a destination sure and charming: wooden railings that protect the visitor without stealing their view, a cozy central gazebo that becomes a refuge and viewpoint, luminaires that at night awaken the magic of the ocean and highlight the steps of those who enjoy the dock under stars
But beyond its impeccable structure, this dock represents a source of opportunities.
With the embarkation and disembarkation of boats and catamaransthe local economy and doors open so that miches continue to shine like the tourist pole that the Dominican Republic has discovered in it.
Here they are given authentic encounters: families who gather to watch the evening fall, friends who celebrate life with a photograph, visitors who are amazed to feel that the sea speaks to them. It is a space to live experiences, to create memories, to return again and again.
He dock of miches It is not just wood and metal, it is an embrace of the sea, an invitation to explore, a symbol of hope for one community that continues to grow along with its waves.
The road that connects the municipality of Miches, province of El Seibo, shows notable deterioration, despite the growing tourist importance that this destination has achieved in recent years.
Along the way, you can see dreamlike landscapes: green mountains, panoramic views of the sea and a natural wealth that has become one of the main attractions for national and foreign visitors. However, this scenario contrasts with the poor condition of the road, full of holes, unevenness and sections where the asphalt has practically disappeared.
Residents and visitors share the complaints and demand that the authorities give priority to repairing the road.
