The thirtieth version of the Popular Autofair concluded with 19,000 million of pesos in loan applications, corresponding to a total of 9,600 new vehicles financed, of which, so far, 7,000 million pesos have been approved.
Within this general amount, more than 650 million of pesos were allocated to the financing of hybrid vehicles and electrical, according to provisional data from the Dominican Popular Bank.
Regarding the financing terms preferred by clients, the most common in this version was the fixed rate from 12.75% to three years.

Through a press release, the bank said that the Autoferia Popular 2025 enjoyed the best rates of the moment to purchase a new vehicle: from 7.75% for six months; 9.75% one year; 11.75% for two years; 12.75% for three years; 13.75% for five years and a special fixed rate for hybrid and electric vehicles from 7.25% for six months.
The SUV type vehicles or SUVs led the acquisitions, with an average financed value of 2.0 million of pesos per unit. This type of units represented 67% of the total cars purchased. The seven-year term was the most common among those who chose to purchase these models on credit.
Customers had the possibility of financing up to 90% of the value of the vehicle, with a payment period of up to seven years, starting in January 2026. In addition, they had the option to make additional payments.
Men with more loans
People between 30 and 40 years old acquired the most cars, followed by those between 40 and 50 years old. For their part, the men they made six out of 10 shopping.
In this version, participants benefited from multiple financing solutions tailored to their needs, including zero kilometer credits; green loans Get Ecoaimed at hybrid and electric models; Popular Leasing for professionals, SMEs and companies; as well as special conditions for vehicles used.
