Petroperú workers ask Pedro Castillo to separate Hugo Chávez from the company

The workers of they do not want Hugo Chávez in the company. This is stated by the Union of Administrative Workers of Petroperú, which has declared persona non grata this official who is the current general manager and who claims to have the support of President Castillo. The statement, made in a letter sent to the president, also includes a request to him: to separate Chavez from the oil company.

“We must express our regret for what has been happening and repudiation for the alleged acts of corruption carried out by the general manager, which have been giving rise to investigations by the competent bodies to investigate criminal actions and express that he is not a persona grata to our organization. trade union and that we consider, as it is within its competence, that it should be separated since it does not demonstrate having the minimum ethical and moral capacity to adopt such a brave decision on its own, ”reads the letter that was delivered yesterday at the digital parts table to the Executive.

In the document, which is signed by nine leaders of this union, it is also read that in the oil company “there is a state of impatience and uncertainty due to actions taken that had never been seen before.”

This newspaper learned that some of the practices adopted would include salary modifications and changes in the work of some workers.

Another aspect that is mentioned in the letter is that the company would be hiring people without experience “and from institutions that do not reflect any guarantee of probity due to the investigation processes that they have been subject to and coincidentally from the Regional Government of Ancash , well known in the dependencies of the Judiciary”.

According to sources from Perú21, this week wage changes would be forthcoming for 125 workers. Of these, 112 would suffer a reduction in salary under the argument that they would receive remuneration “not in accordance with their level of responsibility.” Another 13, who carry out supervisory tasks, would be relocated to other positions and with other salaries for, supposedly and according to Petroperú, not having the corresponding title.

FORBIDDEN TO RECORD

To this is added that among the workers a circular was also called that was sent by the General Management on March 3 last. In this, the staff was reminded that “the recording without express consent of all face-to-face or virtual meetings that take place between officials and workers of the company is strictly prohibited”, protecting this in the secrecy of communications established by the Constitution. .

However, even more peculiar was that the document read that “if consent was omitted” it would be “before an illicit evidence, as indicated by the TC when indicating that an illicit means of evidence is that whose action or obtaining has been carried out violating fundamental rights or those that violate procedural legality”.

Keep in mind

-The workers called a strike for March 21 and 22 as a protest against the abuses that would be occurring in the company.

-This week, according to sources, the general secretary of the Conchán union, Rafael Noblecilla, would be fired for supporting the strike.
