The Brazilian team already knows the path it will take in the group stage of the 2026 World Cup. The debut will be on June 13th, against Morocco, at MetLife Stadium, in New Jersey, at 7pm (Brasília time). It will be the first step for the team led by Carlo Ancelotti in the search for a sixth championship.
In the second round, Brazil returns to the field on June 19, when they face Haiti at Lincoln Financial Field, in Philadelphia, at 10 pm (Brasília time). The end of the first phase is scheduled for June 24th, against Scotland, at the Hard Rock Stadium, in Miami, also at 7pm (Brasília time).
If they advance to the round of 32, the team will face an opponent from Group F, made up of the Netherlands, Japan, Tunisia and the representative from Europe B — who will come from Ukraine, Sweden, Albania or Poland. The decisive match will be played on June 29th. If they finish the group stage in the lead, Brazil will play in Houston; if he advances in second place, he will play in Monterrey.
The full competition table was announced this Saturday afternoon (6)in an event led by FIFA president, Gianni Infantino, with the presence of former players Ronaldo, Totti, Stoichkov and Lalas. The ceremony took place at the Hilton Capital Hotel, in Washington, United States.
The 2026 World Cup will be played between June 11 and July 19, in 16 host cities distributed between Mexico, the United States and Canada. The groups were defined on Friday (5), in a draw held at the Kennedy Center, also in Washington.
With 48 teams and 104 matches, this will be the biggest World Cup ever held. The opening game, between Mexico and South Africa, will take place on June 11th, at the traditional Azteca Stadium, in Mexico City. The grand final is scheduled for July 19, 2026, again at the MetLife Stadium, in New Jersey, the stage that will also host Brazil’s debut.
