With this new position, Brossier will be responsible for the execution of Citi’s strategy in Mexico, with the objective of maximizing business opportunities in all products and by-products, both locally and internationally, Citi said in a statement this Thursday.
“He will focus on strengthening Citi’s position as the leading banking partner for its clients, fostering successful relationships at all levels of the organization and protecting and enhancing Citi’s reputation in the country,” the company said.
Brossier will report to Julio Figueroa, director of Latin America.
“Luis’s leadership, combined with his deep knowledge of this market, will be instrumental in enhancing our relationships with clients and ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional value and impactful contributions to their success,” said Figueroa.
Luis Brossier began his career at Citi in 2002 in corporate banking, debt and capital markets, and mergers and acquisitions, with assignments in both Mexico City and New York.
He has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana and an MBA with honors from Columbia Business School.
