With this Friday’s triumph, the Brazilian team reached their fifth victory in the competition, maintaining 100% success. In their World Cup debut, Cristiano Silva’s team defeated Cuba 41 to 20. Then the match was against the Czech Republic, with the Brazilian team triumphing by a score of 28 to 22. In their last match in the first phase, Brazil beat Sweden 31 to 27. Their debut in the second phase was a 32 to 25 triumph over South Korea.
Still in the second phase, Brazil will return to action next Sunday (7), when it will face Norway at 4:30 pm (Brasília time).
