Laser announces route to Madrid from Maiquetía with stopover in Cartagena from #10Dec

Laser Airlines indicated that the agreement to fly to Madrid with a stopover in Cartagena was achieved through an alliance with the airline Plus Ultra

The Venezuelan airline Laser announced on the afternoon of this Friday, December 5, a route to Madrid, Spain, with a stopover in the city of Cartagena, in Colombia, starting next Wednesday, December 10.

“Due to the operational impossibility of maintaining direct flights between Spain and Venezuela, we have designed an alternative connection through the Cartagena airport,” the company specified in a statement published on its Instagram account.

Laser Airlines indicated that this agreement was achieved through an alliance with the airline Plus Ultra.

The company said that “passengers with confirmed reservations from the indicated date will be contacted in a timely manner to offer them more information.”

Laser passengers began to ask about the solutions that the airline will give to those who had tickets purchased for previous dates, who are still stranded and have not yet received answers.

Only national airlines continue to operate international routes to and from Venezuela, after, two weeks ago, the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), which classified Venezuelan airspace as “potentially dangerous.”

The operating companies are Laser Airlines, Venezolana, Turpial Airlines, Avior, Estelar and Conviasa. The authorized routes maintain connections to Curacao, Bogotá, Panama and Moscow. Arrivals reflected the same scenario, with operations only from Cuba, Curacao, Colombia and Panama.
