After the Comptroller’s Office revealed that in the Junín region there are 87 paralyzed works, the Infrastructure Manager of the Regional Government of Junín (GRJ), Rony Vejarano, indicated that in this GRJ management there are only three paralyzed works.
“One of them is the San Fernando bridge that was paralyzed since 2017 or 2018, due to a bad technical file. Due to commitments that the Municipality of Huancayo and the District Municipality of El Tambo made in the sedition of the land to place the abutments,” he assured.
Bejarano pointed out that this work is from the 2016 administration and although they wanted to resume it, they could not because they were denounced by the owners of the land on the Huancayo side.
“Within the signed agreement, it indicates that the MPH is responsible for granting the premieres, but so far it has not happened. It is a paralyzed work. We are looking for a solution but the complaint must be withdrawn first,” Indian.
He also referred to the Manuel Higa Arakaki hospital. “We found an abandoned project, we have resolved it, we carried out a bidding process that we declared void and now we have re-tendered it again. It is paralyzed, also due to the change of land,” said the GRJ Infrastructure Manager.
Finally, he referred to the JU-103 and JU-108 roads.. “They are works suspended due to climatological factors, the rest are works of the municipalities. There are 12 works suspended because they generate cost benefits against the business community. The JU-103 (was suspended) in the third stage, the Ju-108, due to termination of the contract. The Mariategui school in La Oroya and some small projects in the central jungle,” He ended by minimizing the topic.
