In 2025, RCN Radio, RCN Television and La República joined the Association of Food Banks of Colombia (ABACUS) to create the campaign ‘For a Christmas without Hunger’an effort that seeks to bring markets, relief and hope to the most vulnerable households in the country.
The invitation is simple, but profound: allow no Colombian to go hungry this Christmas and that every child, regardless of their region, can live these dates with dignity and as a family.

The goal is not only ambitious; It’s urgent. The figures of child malnutrition In Colombia they speak for themselves and demand immediate action.
In 2024, according to reports from the National Institute of Health (INS) and of the Attorney General’s Officethe country registered 21,867 cases of malnutrition in minors, which represents an increase in 7.19% compared to 2023.
