Republican senators demand urgent answers about who ordered the attack in the Pentagon to kill the survivors of an initial missile attack against an alleged drug trafficking ship on September 2, 2025, in the Caribbean.
In this sense, Senator Roger Wicker, chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, promised to carry out “vigorous oversight” of the attacks.
For his part, Senator Mike Rounds, a member of the Intelligence Committee, pointed out that if confirmed, attacking the survivors would mean violating international law.
Likewise, Senator Susan Collins also joined the voices of concern even though she called for waiting for clarification of the facts.
