The Minister for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, assured that this year 65,530 kilograms of drugs have been seized, which translates into 65 and a half tons, thanks to the work of the State security forces, in addition, “the aviation colleagues have neutralized 418 aircraft, in accordance with the Control Law for the Comprehensive Defense of Airspace.”
In this sense, Cabello details that in the last days of November 2025, 239 kilograms of marijuana were seized in the state of Amazonas; specifically on Sunday the 23rd of that month, while on the 27th the following were confiscated:
• 138 kilos of marijuana in Lara state.
• 71 kilos of marijuana and 2.2 kilos of cocaine in Monagas state.
• 90 kilos of marijuana in the state of Falcón.
Likewise, he asserted that the State security forces are behind an important and significant case to combat drug trafficking. In this regard, he expressed that “when one says that behind these people is ‘La Sayona’ (María Corina Machado), everyone says: Diosdado invents, wait for the Times to say it so they believe me,” he stressed.
It is worth noting that these actions are part of the national government’s fight to combat this scourge, which also refutes the false US narratives that try to tarnish the name of Venezuela, by ensuring that it is a country that supports drug trafficking.
