This was indicated by Brigadier General William Castanocommander of the Police in the Aburrá Valley.

“The action, initiated as a result of an investigative process aimed at counteracting modalities of telephone extortion and digital, allowed us to intervene criminal structures that operated from inside the establishment through a clandestine system type ‘criminal call center‘. These networks were dedicated to impersonating authorities, threatening and making financial demands on their victims through calls,” the general explained.

On patio two of the Bellavista prison, the authorities explained that there they serve their sentence for a little more than 700 people.
