The president of the American Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic (Amchamdr), Francesca Rainierithanked yesterday Leah Francis Camposambassador of the USA in the country, for speaking at the union’s last business meeting in 2025, and indicated that his presence is a clear sign of how close bilateral relations are between both nations.
He remembered that, more than being the main business partner of the country, there are historical tiescommercial, cultural and human with the USA.
“We reaffirm our commitment to continue strengthening these links on the basis of trust, transparency, the rule of law and public-private collaboration that promotes competitiveness and sustainable development“said Rainieri.
He argued that the Dominican Republic has proven to be a regional partner safe, stable and reliable, which has made it advance in the midst of a global environment that requires supply chains increasingly resilient, investment environments predictability, institutional integrity, innovation and sustainability.
“We are also united by a set of core values: the democracyeconomic openness, integrity and respect for the law,” said Rainieri, noting that these principles support the work agenda developed Amchamdr from its different committees.
