Motorist dies after crashing into a cow

In another event, a gas cylinder exploded on the night of Saturday, November 29, in a home, south of Valencia.

A motorcyclist died on the night of this Saturday, November 29, after colliding head-on with a cow on Intercomunal de Cabimas Avenue, near the El Suiche sector, near the Liceo Militar.

The man, identified as Gabriel Vergara, suffered serious injuries as a result of the impact and was immediately taken to a healthcare center, where he died a few hours later.

The accident was of such magnitude that the animal involved also lost its life at the scene. According to regional media, residents of Punta Gorda and nearby areas claim that the lack of lighting and the constant presence of loose animals represent a permanent danger for both drivers and pedestrians.

In another event, a gas cylinder exploded on the night of Saturday, November 29, in a home located on Páez Street in the Aquiles Nazoa neighborhood, south of Valencia.

During the unfortunate accident, Mr. Asencio Antonio Perozo, 73 years old, suffered severe burns all over his body and was immediately transferred by security commissions to a healthcare center in the area.

According to information shared on social networks, the explosion occurred due to a gas leak in the residence. After hearing the noise, the neighbors came to help the person who was inside the house.

Commissions from the Valencia Fire Department arrived at the scene to put out the flames, as well as ambulances from the 0800 Bigote emergency system, according to Carabobo state media.
