The political party Together for Peru demanded justice for the murder of Percy Ipanaqué Navarro, pre-candidate for the Chamber of Deputies, which occurred in Piura on Friday, November 28.
“We are committed to fighting so that these execrable events do not remain unpunished,” the party said in a statement.
The homicide occurred when the politician was driving his vehicle with license plate P1H-114 towards the Mapfre cemetery, along the road towards the Miraflores hamlet. According to the information published by RPP, two subjects on a motorcycle intercepted him and shot him up to seven times.

“Percy Ipanaqué has been a victim of those who saw in him a potential adversary in the next general elections and of those who seek to perpetuate institutional corruption, using common crime as an instrument to control their opponents,” said JP.
Roberto Sánchez, leader of the party, assured that the tragic event “hits him deeply.” In addition, he demanded a “rigorous and immediate investigation.” “Peru cannot continue living under fear. Justice for Percy!” he expressed on his X account.
