The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, assured that the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (Psuv) is the most solid political awning in the country and is organized from the bases to go out to defend Venezuela against the imperial threat.
«If the homeland is threatened, this is the party, from the streets, from the community, from the neighborhood, from the organization, we are going to defend our affordable right, our right to defense, our right to a full life. From this party we will defend inch by inch the sacred territory of the homeland,” said Rodríguez during the Swearing-In mobilization of the Bolivarian Comprehensive Base Commands.
In that sense, he reiterated that “the process of complete renewal of the party is forming a powerful political and social organization, in defense of the homeland, for the construction of the true Revolution, for the formation of the future that our children deserve, but also a party for defense.”
The libertarian people in the street
Likewise, Rodríguez emphasized that the Venezuelan people are happy, but they are also ready to defend the country if necessary and will not give up a single space to the American empire.
«We are in the streets, together with the people of Venezuela, defending the good country. They are not going to be able to defeat us, because if something characterizes the people of Venezuela, it is that they are deeply happy, but also deeply libertarian. They are not going to be able to with those threats, with those stupid strategies of psychological warfare, they are not going to be able to with their lies, they are not going to be able to with their slander. “We are going to continue in the streets defending joy and defending the country,” he stated.
Commander Chávez’s dream come true
The president of Parliament recalled that in 2007 Commander Hugo Chávez asked for a solid party to be formed in the country that would work hand in hand with the people and become widespread.
“Now, due to the instructions given to us by the president of the party, President Maduro, Chávez’s dream is being fulfilled, which is the construction of a powerful mass party, where the cadres are also built in a cellular way, the formation of the base circuits, the formation of today’s community commands,” he specified.
During this mobilization, the PSUV leaders joined together with the people to swear in the newly formed Bolivarian Comprehensive Base Commands, at the same time to demonstrate to the world the unity of the Venezuelan people in the face of the US threat in the Caribbean.
