President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva signed this Monday (1st) the Provisional Measure that readjusts the remuneration of the Civil Police, the Military Police and the Military Fire Department of the Federal District, and the Military Police and the Military Fire Department of the extinct Federal Territories and the former Federal District, in two installments. 
The first installment will be implemented in December 2025 and the second in January 2026, with variable percentage rates depending on the position, class, rank or rank.
For the Federal Police and Firefighters, the adjustment will vary between 19.6% and 28.4% (accumulated 2025-2026).
For military police officers and firefighters in former territories, the adjustment is 24.32%, divided into two installments, one of 11.5% in December 2025 and the other of 11.5% in January 2026.
For the DF Civil Police, the adjustment varies from 27.27% for the special category, and 24.43%, for the third category. This adjustment will be divided into two installments, one in 2025 and the other in 2026.
The measure also updates the housing allowance for the categories, which will be readjusted in two stages, 11.5% in December 2025 and 11.5% in January 2026.
The former Federal Territories of Brazil were Amapá, Rondônia and Roraima. After these units were transformed into states, civil servants and military personnel who worked in these regions were incorporated into the Union, requiring a process of regularization and labor rights.
