Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb), assigned to Detachment No. 112 of Zone Command No. 11 Zulia, during patrol work in the Amonol sector of the Alta Guajira parish, Bolivarian Guajira Indigenous municipality, arrested a man and a woman for alleged possession of drugs.
18 panela-type wrappers of suspected marijuana were seized from the detainees, with a gross weight of 9,905 kilograms, according to the minutes disclosed in the official account of the aforementioned military command.
Likewise, the motorcycle on which they were traveling and a cell phone with information of criminalistic interest were seized. The case was brought to the attention of the Public Prosecutor’s Office for the crime of illicit drug trafficking.
Carabobo. A 29-year-old citizen was arrested by officials of the Bolivarian National Police Corps (Cpnb) for allegedly possessing, in a backpack, a package of approximately 80 grams of the alleged drug called marijuana.
The detainee was charged with the crime of illicit possession of narcotic and psychotropic substances, according to the minutes of the security agency published on its official Instagram account.
The procedure was carried out in the El Palito sector, Puerto Cabello municipality. At the scene, officials assigned to the Strategic Intelligence Division (DIE) seized the regular-sized wrapper and a backpack-type bag. The case was brought to the attention of the Public Ministry.
On the other hand, a 56-year-old citizen was detained by officials of the Bolivarian National Police Corps (Cpnb) through a security device, for illegally possessing a firearm. The arrest took place on the North Beltway of the Iribarren municipality. At the scene, officials assigned to the Division Against Organized Crime of the state of Lara approached and verified the individual, finding a shotgun and a navy blue cloth bag.
